Little Town is an Early Childhood Education Center that focuses on developing the different growth areas in each child. We focus on the following areas: Language, Social, Affective / Emotional, Fine Motor, Gross Motor, Cognitive and Self – Help.

We believe every child's development is unique and complex. Although children develop through a generally predictable sequence of steps, they may not proceed through these steps in the same way or at the same time as others.

Every child has their own pace and rhythm when it comes to their development. A child's development is also greatly influenced by factors in his or her environment and the experiences he or she has.

Our experienced teaching staff embraces the view that each child is a unique person with an individual pattern and timing of social, physical, and intellectual development.

Teachers manifest their respect for children by encouraging them to think for themselves, to make decisions, to work towards their own solutions, and express their own ideas and feelings. We recognize and foster an active partnership between home and school.

Little Town strives to create a learning environment where our students feel nurtured, safe and at ease. With this type of environment our students are encouraged to develop socialization skills, independence and a positive self-image. It is our purpose to provide each student an environment where they will play, interact and socialize with one another while learning.

We believe play has a very important role in the early development stages. It is through play that they are able to express themselves and their needs. All learning activities are presented through play. These activities engage the children so they can explore, experiment, imitate, ask questions and be questioned to further their thinking and problem solving skills.

Little Town’s programs consist of small and large group activities, which facilitate development in language, fine motor and gross motor, cognitive skills in reading and math readiness concepts and social skills.

There is a balance of child-directed and teacher-directed activities, which are included throughout the day.

The Little Town team coordinates the day's activities insuring that all areas of development are addressed.
