Dr. Robert J. Kaplan has been practicing podiatry in the Lehigh Valley for over 30 years. Dr. Kaplan grew up in the Lehigh Valley and graduated from Easton High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Syracuse University, and then attended medical school at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1979, and then completed a surgical residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Philadelphia in 1981. Dr. Kaplan is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and is Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a member of the Lehigh Valley Podiatric Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Podiatric Medical Association. When not practicing podiatry, Dr. Kaplan enjoys spending time with his family, playing chess, and attending opera.
