My passion for Computer Science began to take hold at my first Hackathon, HS Hacks, during the spring of 2013. With a team of four, I began to learn how to think like a programmer. I developed my first android app "Talking Jobs" and was mildly impressed with what I had come up within 24 hours. From then, my excitement towards computer programming has only increased.

Computers aside, I also play the piano, run track, and cook midnight snacks. I'm a photographer on hiatus, but a man who's caught up on the latest. I don't always go on social media, but when I do, I drop an ello.

Projects

  • Raspberry Pi CNC Laser Engraver (2013-2014). Constructed a mini CNC laser engraver out of two old DVD+RW drivers, H bridges, and a Raspberry Pi. Code is written in Python.
  • Webserver on Raspberry Pi (2014). Using MySQL, PHP, and Wordpress, successfully hosted a webserver on the Raspberry Pi
    robocow.mooo.com
  • Remote Timelapse on Raspberry Pi (2014). Connected a Canon D1100 to a Raspberry Pi. Using Putty and gPhoto2, I am able to set remote release and timed interval shots, making timelapse a painless effort.
  • Facebook notification using Spark Core (2014).

Notable Android Applications (APK's are available on github.)

  • Star Strike (2014). A casual game where a galaxy in the center of the screen needs to be changed to the same colors as the stars that are colliding with it.

  • HyperLinkT (2014) Easy way to save and archive your favourite links and bookmarks. When a link is registered, a QR code and shortened link will be provided so it can be easily shared with others. Login and Connect via Facebook so your friends can view your profile and bookmarks!

-Organizing De Anza Hacks-

Nov. 14

  • Managed to get into contact with MLH, set up an appointment with Swift (Dec 2) to discuss the possibility of hosting a hackathon at De Anza College. Currently looking to Developer's Guild for people interested in heping with the organization process
  • Contacted DeAnza staff regarding the possibility of using the MLC or Cafeteria+ConA/B as venues for a 24 hour period (March 28-29). Still waiting on a reply.

Nov. 24

  • Made considerable progress in my search for sponsors. (compiled a list here, along with other tasks yet to be completed: http://goo.gl/CY5mLo
I will start sending out emails to these companies depending on how my meeting with Swift goes.

In the process of creating a custom domain (CNAME) but having trouble with DNS stuff
