Our mission is to reduce dependence on non-renewable energy sources through the design and development of sustainable hybrid electric vehicles for urban transportation, with a focus on 2-wheeled vehicles such as bicycles, scooters, and motorcycles.

This prototype proves the functionality of our design, by succesfully capturing excess energy and extending the driving range of the vehicle.

Our first version of the BB1 is built on top of a traditional road bike. The BB1 can reach speeds up to 19 mph and 45 mins ride time between charges. Production model will lose the duct tape and look much cleaner.

The bike will also be available with a bamboo frame, providing a strong, light weight, and eco-friendly design.

Staying true to our goal of sustainability, we wish to empower the user to convert his/her existing bicycle to a Banner Bike. This option offers the buyer significant savings, and teaches a few things in the process, by providing everything one would need to convert their existing bicycle.

The main distinction our design has compared to other electric bikes on the market is the complete independence from an external power source, such as a wall charger. Majority of the electricity produced in the United States comes from coal, which releases an incredible amount of toxic byproducts and contributes to our planet’s declining health. If people use our bicycle instead of the competition’s, they help reduce the demand for electricity, which is continuously on the rise.
