Watch I Frankenstein Online The story of Frankenstein's monster has had many incarnations on screen, but perhaps none as clunky as I, Frankenstein, in which the stitched-up soulless creature is presented as a superhero of sorts.

Aaron Eckhart stars as mad scientist Victor Frankenstein's doomed creation, Adam. Not long after burying his creator, our permanently brooding protagonist finds himself at the centre of an ages-old war between two clans: the gargoyles led by Queen Leonore (Miranda Otto), and the demons ruled by Naberius (Bill Nighy). As the film fast forwards 200 years ahead into far more technologically advanced times, we BoxOffice (2014) Watch as Adam foils Naberius' plans to take over the world by giving life to an army of corpses who will vanquish the angelic gargoyles.

What's particularly embarrassing here is the seriousness with which everyone concerned approaches this ludicrous plot. Poor Aaron Eckhart deserves a medal for keeping a straight face through the sheer stupidity of this enterprise, while only Bill Nighy, who's appropriately over-the-top as the snarling Demon Prince, seems like he's in on the joke. To be fair, the special effects aren't bad at all, but fatigue does set in when you're BoxOffice (2014) Watching scene after scene of gargoyles and demons smashing into building, swinging clubs at each other until they disintegrate into sparks and flames.

Watch I Frankenstein Online Free At one point, a well-meaning female scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) catches a glimpse of our monster hero in all his shirtless glory, and sexual attraction is thick in the air. By now, it's impossible to take this film seriously.

After almost 200 years of his existence and abandonment, Adam - Victor Frankenstein's creature (Aaron Eckhart, effective but monotonous) decides to hunt the very demons who are looking for him. Demon Prince Naberious (Bill Nighy) wants to get hold of Frankenstein's journal and his monster, to study resurrection so that he can reanimate an army of the undead. But Leonore (Miranda Otto), Queen of the sacred Gargoyle order, won't let it happen. She takes Frankenstein's monster under her custody. Amidst the demons vs. gargoyles war, the creature must find the purpose of his existence.

If you're a fan of the Kate Beckinsale-starrer Underworld series, Stuart Beattie's I, Frankenstein is bound to entertain you. While Underworld was about vampires and werewolves, this one's about demons and gargoyles, more than the legend of Frankenstein. The graphics, action sequences and CGI are amazing. The Gothic theme and 3D add to the mystery and horror of the dystopic setting. Also, the filmmaker manages to get you engulfed by fear and darkness.

Watch I Frankenstein Movie Online However, the film is more of a generic action-fantasy based on a graphic novel, rather than the book by Mary Shelley, so don't expect it to be emotionally moving. Here, the character buildup takes a backseat and style supersedes substance. As far as performances are concerned, Bill Nighy pretty much acts the way he does in the Underworld series. Aaron Eckhart is effective, but way too stoic. Overall, if you want to eat that popcorn and enjoy a horror fantasy, go for it. But if you want to revisit the legend of Frankenstein, BoxOffice (2014) Watch the 1931 classic again.
