Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters is best described as an pleasant evening out. The film has a awesome combination of activity, crazy and even some gore and reasonable results. The filmmakers do well with the idea and mix serious activity with some goofy fun. It is not a complete parody of itself, but it definitely does not take itself too seriously. Now movie director Tommy Wirkola choices the right combination of activity, crazy and gore while splitting right down the center of serious and goofy. I think if you went all serious or all goofy this content would drop very smooth. But, by changing returning and forth, the viewers gets some awesome activity film components and some crazy parody items to have a good laugh at and recognize the film should definitely not be taken seriously. It was also a fantastic choice to add some contemporary conversation and colloquialisms to the much mature establishing. Many of the smashes from the severity center around the conversation.
