Was Jody Kriss Really Guilty?

Module1

You may have read the news in various mediums several months ago about Jody Kriss and Salvatore Lauria. The Wharton Law School Graduate, Jody Kriss, was said to be involved with the mafia or gang of criminals by Lauria, the man who himself had criminal backgrounds. He is definitely no saint to accuse an educated and well experienced person like Kriss for something he is not even aware about.

No matter how neutral we wish to be, there are certain things and points that we wish to highlight here to help you decide whether Kriss is really guilty or not.

• The career journey of Jody Kriss – This man graduated from the Wharton School of Law and joined the Athena Group as a mere junior analyst. His performance was so high that he was appreciated by each of his seniors. He then jumped to another organization named APC Realtor Advisors, where he worked harder to prove himself and his talents. After working there for several projects of the company and Kriss Jody completing all of them, he jumped to the Bayrock Group, where he worked as a managing partner for quite some time and then got promoted to the level of Chief Financial Officer. He worked in this company for five years and then jumped to East River Partners as a principal.

The period that he spent with the Bayrock Group did give him name and fame in the market but as soon as he left the company, his entire career paused for a brief moment. Salvatore Lauria, his ex-business partner at Bayrock, accused Kriss of being involved with the mobs or gangsters. He also stated that no matter how much Kriss tries to be the ‘wise guy’, he has been a part of various crimes related to the point where they cracked deals together. However, Lauria was unaware of the same and hence contributed his efforts to the works of Kriss all the time.

• A little information about Salvatore Lauria–During 1990s, Lauria dodged a racketeering charge since he was a major part of the $40 million Wall Street pump and dump scheme (stock market fraud). He was earlier an associate of the mafia but later turned into an informant. He has had the criminal charges on himself and his lawyer, Michael Beys, accepts that the man is no saint himself, yet he supports his sayings since he broke the information on something that could have lead to a major loss for a lot of people.

• Jody Kriss and his accusations on the Bayrock Group–Kriss has given five years to the company and he surely knows in and out of each and every department. The Golden boy of Wharton clearly stated that a lot of conspiracies are involved in the work pattern of the company, where people are threatened to be killed or tortured.

Currently, the man is displaying his marvelous working methods at East River Partners, continuing his lawsuits against the Bayrock Group where he spent several years as the CFO.
