Villa Nives is a family business. Our experience in renting our Villa started in 2007, and since then every year we have the pleasure of hosting different cultures, as of now the nationalities that rented the villa, are: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Estonia, Norway, Sweden, UK, Czech Republic, Russia, Kazakhstan, Israel.

We offer an traditional Istrian style villa, built using the most prestigious materials. The villa is located in the small village of Prhati which is 18 km (11 miles) from the sea (Poreč) and is near (6 km~3.7 miles) to the small Istrian town of Višnjan where you can find restaurants, bars and markets. Along with the living rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms, the villas are also equipped with wonderful wood fireplaces, in side and outside the house. In front of the Villa there is a lovely swimmin pool and a sunbathing area. For those who want to enjoy a quiet and peaceful vacation, far away from the city rush and noise.

 Villa Nives is located in the little Istrian village of Prhati, which is situated on the West part of the Istrian peninsula, on the Višnjan-Vranici road. It is 18 km away from the sea (Poreč), and 6 km from the little town of Višnjan, and also 7 km away from the new highway exit (the Istrian Y) Kopar-Pula, which makes the Villa easily accessible.

Surrounding Prhati, there are beautiful landscapes composed of meadows, vineyards and forests. The area is famous for its renowned truffles, wine (Teran and Malvasia), as well as Istrian prosciutto and Istrian sausages.Very close to the village there is the Višnjan Astronomical Observatory, which tells of the air purity in this part of Istria, where it is possible to enjoy the beautiful, clean and serene surroundings, as well as the exquisite Istrian food and drinks in the many Istrian taverns and restaurants.

Prhati is composed of around 50 people, mostly original inhabitants, and it is the home village of the owner of the house which makes the whole atmoshpere more comfortable and it guarantees a serene and peaceful environment and an idyllic rural ambiance.

Villa Nives has been projected so as to incorporate all of the traditional elements of the original Istrian houses, which were built with Istrian brick and rock, and have been equipped with central heating and air-conditioning systems, as well as garden pools.

How many people can the Villa host?

The disposition of the rooms are:

- 1 bedroom with 1 king bed + 2 bunk beds = 4 people

- 4 bedrooms with 1 king bed each = 8 people

- 1 bedroom with 1 single bed = 1 person

- 1 mezzanine bedroom with 1 double bed = 2 people

We also provide 1 crib.

 

Is the villa accessible for people with disabilities?

Only the ground floor is accessible. There you can find all the main facilities such as one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room and the BBQ equipped terrasse. The swimming pool is not accessible.
