Scorched Spoon Productions Ltd. is an independent British production company run by sister and brother team Louise E Hollamby and Alexander Hollamby. We believe that the quality of a film starts and ends with a great story and are making our debut feature film, LOSS AND FOUND, because it possesses exactly that.
This is a highly personal film, set in Lincoln - close to the area in which we grew up - which gives us the chance to give something back to a community that has faced challenging economic and social conditions over recent years.
In this - as with all of our work - we want to utilise the very best of home grown talent and showcase it to a worldwide audience. Through partnership with the University of Lincoln, local businesses and product placement deals with quality British brands, we can combine to make LOSS AND FOUND a film which satisfies twin aims of artistic integrity and commercial success.
Brilliant West End and Off-Broadway director, HANNA BERRGIAN, will be making her film debut as our director and we are currently in the process of finalising the financing and development of the project.
Earlier this year, we completed our first short film, THE BATHROOM - written and directed by talented playwright SAM PETER JACKSON and starring Olivier winning actress JANIE DEE and brilliant young actor REECE NOI. We have been lucky enough to have Grammy winning composer DAVID ARNOLD provide us with the score for this ten minute short and are excited about embarking on the festival trail with it shortly.
Our current slate also includes GENDER REASSIGNMENT - an ambitious short film by writer/director ADINA ISTRATE about a complicated love story between a wrestler and a pre-op transsexual and the development of a television project called FALLING, written by PETER WISE with JULIAN RHIND-TUTT and JANIE DEE attached to star.
We have a core team of hard working and talented collaborators, without whom we could not get any of this done, and we look forward to showing the world how phenomenal they all are. At least that's what they told us to say...
LOSS AND FOUND
Scorched Spoon Productions is currently developing LOSS AND FOUND - our first feature film for cinematic release in 2014. Hanna Berrigan is attached to direct and further cast and crew information will be released later in 2013.
THE BATHROOM

This ten minute short film was made entirely on location in London and will be entered into festivals worldwide upon completion.

LOUISE E HOLLAMBY - PRODUCER
Louise trained and worked as an actor, singer and composer for ten years. It went so well that she moved into writing in 2009. Her first work was an eight episode multigenerational adventure story, 'Sienna Fitch'. She followed this with her first full length screenplay 'Loss And Found' in 2011. She is currently working on a new screenplay and full length musical based on Pierre Choderlos de Laclos’ novel Les Liasons Dangereuses.
After working extensively in the field of new musical writing and development, Louise produced a workshop reading of 'The Silk Handkerchief' for Mercury Musical Development. She has also produced six musicals for children in her home town of Cleethorpes.
She co-founded Scorched Spoon Productions in 2011 with the intention of utilising the skills of the hugely talented people around her to make high quality British film and television work. She successfully produced the short film, The Bathroom, doing exactly that and continues to work with up-and-coming writers and creatives in the development of new projects and scripts.
She was an inaugural member of The School For Creative Startups - a year long mentoring programme for young creative businesses run by Doug Richard, one of the original Dragons from the BBC series Dragon's Den.
Louise has lived and worked in London for nearly fifteen years and still considers it the greatest city in the world. She loves Liverpool FC, the England cricket team and is a McLaren F1 girl (even though her heart belongs to Lewis).
ALEXANDER HOLLAMBY - FINANCIAL DIRECTOR
Alexander has a background in finance and mortgage advising and has also worked as an Extended Schools Coordinator for Grimsby and its surrounding areas. During this time, he was responsible for sourcing and successfully applying for project funding for a number of schemes. He maintains excellent contacts within the Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire councils and businesses throughout the area.
He is responsible for overseeing and managing the budgets and finances of all of Scorched Spoon Production Ltd.'s projects and is highly skilled at keeping his sister's often slightly crazed exuberance relevant to the business.
He is married with three young children and lives and works in Cleethorpes. He also loves Liverpool FC and the England cricket team but thinks that F1 is a boring procession of cars driving around at speed with a pre-ordained outcome.
They agree on most other things though.
